This was commissioned as a gift for someone whose favorite comics are
12 Reason Why I Love Her and
Blankets. The basic concept was Gwen and Evan from
12 Reasons reading Craig Thompson's book. The final piece ends up using props from
Blankets as background, too.
To go with the drawing, we also included signed copies of both books, and Craig drew in the
Blankets:
It was tempting to forge his signature in a different copy and keep this one!
