UPCOMING CONVENTION APPEARANCES

In March, I will be attending two shows.

First is the Indiana Comic Con, March 14-16. Show details here.

Second will be Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, March 28-30. Their website.

My understanding is that the Helheim trade paperback will be at ECCC, as will Cullen Bunn and Nick Fildari, so you can meet the whole team.

Speaking of art, Cadence has redesigned their website and you will now find all remaining Helheim art listed there, including the pages from #6, which have not been on sale before. Cadence is the only authorized dealer of my work, so it's the one place to buy art that comes directly from me (unless, of course, you literally purchase it directly from me).

They also have the art for the story I drew for Creepy Comics last year. That is now going to be collected in Creepy Comics, vol. 3: The Lurking Fate, also coming in March. More details here.

HELHEIM #6 cover; plus, art for sale at Cadence

All the remaining art for Helheim #s 1-3 is now with Cadence Comic Art and for sale exclusively through them. You can find it all here through the link. They also currently have the full set of Phantom Variant covers, and will be handling Helheim art sales from here on out.

The series is now completely drawn! #4 came out this week, and so we'll be done as scheduled in July. Here is the cover to #6, colors by Nick Filardi.

SIXTH GUN CROSSOVER FOR FCBD

A special collaboration piece by myself and Brian Hurtt, colored by Bill Crabtree, teaming Helheim and The Sixth Gun. Done as a limited print for our Free Comic Book Day appearance at Third Eye Comics in Baltimore, where Cullen Bunn was also in attendance.

I'll set up selling remainders soon, but in the meantime, you can buy the Cadence Art print of the Helheim #1 cover  or the exclusive Go Challengers print via my etsy store.

By the way, in case you missed it, the Katie Cook variant of Helheim #2 is now also on sale.

EMERALD CITY COMIC CON/STUMPTOWN 2013

It was announced yesterday that Jamie S. Rich and I will be special guests at the Emerald City Comic Con at the start of March. We will be tabling with Oni Press, and Cullen Bunn will be there, as well, and there will be special Helheim promos.

You can see the full guest list at the ECCC site. It's always a great show and we're glad to be heading back.

We also have been approved for a table at this year's Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, happening April 27 and 28.

At both shows, I will be bringing along my vintage ad prints and a big pile of daily doodles to sell.

As usual, I will also be doing sketches at the show. You can prebook them now, and I will do as many of them as I can before the convention, meaning you'll get a little better attention without the distraction of the show floor. If I don't get to yours, you'll be the first on the list when the con opens.

VIRTUAL CON: Special Weekend Sale on Sketches and Books, 10/13-14

A note from Jamie S. Rich...

Since we won’t be going to New York Comic Con, Joëlle and I have decided to run a “virtual convention” here at home. The idea came to us when we had tell people who had contacted us about booking commissions that we would were going to have to cancel.

So, for the weekend of the show, October 13 and 14, Joëlle will do con sketches at home. What’s that mean? It means that she will do one sketch an hour, the way she would at the show: black-and-white drawings on standard sized paper. Con prices will apply. Note: You do not have to be an NYCC attendee to participate.

There are eight slots for Saturday, six for Sunday, so fourteen people in all can get a con sketch. One per person!

$50 for the first character, $10 for each additional character, plus $6 for postage. Payment upon signing up. Examples of the kind of sketch you can expect are here and here.

VINTAGE AD PRINTS ON SALE AGAIN

Now that Emerald City and Stumptown are done, we're making the remaining sets of prints available online.

These are six prints, printed on nice photo paper, full color, and at a frameable 8" X 10" size.

They are numbered, and can be signed on request; however, the sets are not all matching numbers. We tried to put together as many matching ones in each set as possible, but I think only one remaining is a full run.

The price of each set is $100 plus $6 for postage/fees, etc. If you want individual prints, they are $20 each, $6 postage regardless of quantity.
